Ukrainian Refugees Ignite a Culinary Revolution in Estonia

From war-torn Ukraine to Estonia’s bustling markets, refugees Anna Lytvyn and Maryna Prittshina transform adversity into a culinary venture with Fruitiki, blending taste with purpose.

Tallinn, Estonia – In a narrative that reminds us of human tenacity in the face of adversity, two Ukrainian war refugees, Anna Lytvyn and Maryna Prittshina, have made waves in Estonia’s culinary landscape with their innovative healthy snack company, Fruitiki.

Nurturing Dreams Amid Chaos

Originally from KyivUkraine, Anna and Maryna had to recalibrate their lives when war broke out.

The strife disrupted their daily existence and forced them into a heart-wrenching decision to leave their homeland.

As they made Estonia their new sanctuary, the duo found more than just refuge—they found a renewed purpose.

Seeds of Entrepreneurship: Turning Personal Needs into Business Ventures

Anna, who once donned the role of an economist marketer and was a doting mother to a young daughter named Kira, was constantly looking for healthy snacking alternatives.

Recognizing a potential market niche and driven by personal necessity, she, alongside Maryna, a culinary expert with a rich history in Ukraine’s gastronomic sector, birthed the concept of Fruitiki.

From tantalizing fruit rolls to savory jerkies, their product range offers a tempting blend of taste and nutrition.

What makes Fruitiki stand apart, besides its superior quality, is the underlying ethos.

A part of their earnings goes into supporting the Ukrainian armed forces, making it more than just a commercial endeavor.

Crafting a Legacy Beyond Borders

While setting up, Fruitiki was riddled with challenges, ranging from legal hurdles to understanding a new market; Anna and Maryna’s passion was unyielding.

Their vision for Fruitiki is expansive, with ambitions to introduce their mouth-watering delights across Europe.

Their recent victory at a business competition hosted by CAdFE in collaboration with Hands for Ukraine and the Foreign Investor Council in Estonia bears testimony to their prowess and the immense potential of Fruitiki.

The dynamic duo expressed gratitude for their victory: “Winning this competition has been validating.

It assures us that our product holds merit and that there is a genuine belief in our vision.

The support, mentorship, and networking opportunities we have gained are invaluable.”

Fruitiki: More than Just a Business

At its core, Fruitiki is emblematic of the indomitable human spirit.

It is a story of resilience, ambition, and the enduring ties of community.

Through their venture, Anna and Maryna offer an assortment of delectable snacks and champion a cause, turning their patrons into stakeholders in a mission that transcends borders.
