Ukraine Launches Major Drone Strike on Moscow, All Drones Intercepted

Moscow – Ukraine executed one of its largest drone attacks on Moscow today.

However, the Ukrainian defense ministry confirmed that the city’s air defense systems successfully neutralized all drones.

This incident follows a recent drone strike on the Kremlin, which Russia attributed to Ukraine.

Here is the latest information we have:

According to Russia’s defense ministry, Ukraine is responsible for the drone attack on Moscow.

However, the ministry claims they shot down all the drones deployed in the attack.

The defense ministry revealed that eight drones targeted the Russian capital.

However, a Telegram channel called Baza, known for its links to security services, reported that more than 25 drones were involved.

RBC, a news website, quoted an anonymous source stating that “anti-aircraft systems had successfully intercepted more than ten” drones.

Sergei Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, stated that two individuals sought medical assistance following the strike, but fortunately, no fatalities were reported.

Russia’s Investigative Committee, responsible for investigating major crimes, acknowledged that several drones had landed on buildings in Moscow, resulting in minor damages.

They have initiated an investigation into this attack.

The aftermath of the drone strike saw emergency service vehicles gathered near a damaged multi-story apartment block in Moscow.

As the situation unfolds, authorities in both Ukraine and Russia are closely monitoring the developments.

However, the motive behind Ukraine’s drone attacks on Moscow remains unclear, and tensions between the two nations continue to escalate.

We will provide updates as more information becomes available regarding this significant incident.
