Russia: On February 28, the government of St. Petersburg, known as Smolny, confirmed that Pulkovo Airport is experiencing flight delays of up to 12 hours.
While the airport operates as usual, it does not receive or send planes.
The reason for the delay has yet to be disclosed.
Earlier today, there were media reports about an emergency at Pulkovo Airport due to an unidentified flying object (UFO) spotted in the sky over the Leningrad Region.
However, Smolny did not confirm this report.
Despite the delay, the airport’s services are functioning normally, and it is expected to resume flights as soon as possible.
