For over a decade, renowned actor Maxim Matveev has built a thriving marriage with his wife, Lisa Boyarskaya.

Galich commended the actor’s approach, acknowledging that people’s definitions of ‘romantic’ vary.

“To some, a bouquet may be romantic, while others may view it differently. It is interesting how subjective it can be. Incidentally, I have never asked Lisa whether she sees my involvement in the conscious birth classes as a romantic gesture. It was a given for me because it was something I genuinely wanted,” Matveev further elaborated.

The hit series “Trigger” star made it clear that he also values traditional romantic gestures such as gifting flowers and welcoming Lisa at the airport.

“These gestures are not an obligation for me; they are an expression of my affection and my wish to make her happy,” he said during the popular YouTube show “There are questions.”

Matveev also divulged that he and Lisa share a mutual understanding of romance, neither placing too much emphasis on it.

“Sometimes, we may impulsively decide to chase the sunset together. However, such decisions cannot be unilateral. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure the other person is ready and open to it,” he admitted.

While Matveev and Boyarskaya balance a demanding acting career, they have chosen to reside in St. Petersburg despite their work commitments in Moscow.
