France: Former Miss France and Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere have again spoken out against cyber-harassment on social media.
The beauty queen took to her Instagram account on Sunday, March 26th, to address the inappropriate criticism she receives regarding her face and alleged cosmetic procedures.
Mittenaere stated that she recently received a new wave of criticism, including accusations that her mouth appeared swollen in a post.
She responded by sharing a photo from 2017, highlighting that makeup can alter one’s appearance without the need for cosmetic procedures.
Mittenaere, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday, stated that she is used to having to justify herself and that this is not the first time she has been forced to address inappropriate remarks regarding her physique.
She also highlighted that it is normal for public figures to change over time and that cyber-harassment is unacceptable.
In June 2022, Mittenaere spoke out against a comment about her weight on Instagram.
Mittenaere’s recent statement sheds light on the prevalence of cyber-harassment and its harmful effects, even on public figures.
